Unfortunately the backhoe tire wasn't repaired as promised.
So while waiting on the tire to be fixed, we watched the ice delivery take place. It came off the truck in five-foot long blocks. 
Some of today's road crew along with Pastor Bo from Luben, at the glorious moment of connecting our new road with the existing one.
As you can see, many of the village folks were watching the action. Some of us were amazed that we were able to get this far, but like Pastor Bo said, "With God, anything is possible!" He was so happy to see the progress. Hopefully we will finish bringing it all up to grade tomorrow. 
There was no shortage of helpers to assist us
