There
were several local musicians who are friends of YWAM who were helping
out. We had a sound system, complete with generator, and the singing was
extended and lively. Logan did a great job of leading us in some
English worship songs after we finished singing the Haitian ones. We
also spread out and had a prayer time as we walked around, asking God to
change the park from a place of darkness to a place of light. We were
able to pray for two teenage girls who were being pulled into that
darkness.
After a packed lunch
at the base, some chose to relax, while others went on a hike up a
nearby mountain that overlooks the city.
This evening, one of the staff couples invited us to their apartment for a movie night. Tomorrow it is back to work!
The Ten Commandments in the city park.
The engraving on the rock says, "Christ for Saint Marc; Saint Marc for Christ"
